Undownloading Music

I keep experiencing my songs just showing as not downloaded after some time which is super annoying, as I have an active subscription and download all my music over the internet. And it’s super expensive to keep downloading songs over and over again, most especially when you have an active subscription that automatically renews itself. This really needs to stop I’m beginning to get irritated cos I have to go back to downloading almost all of my music library 😩😩😩🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi, Funmiak, and thanks for reaching out. We see that you're having an issue with your downloaded music automatically removing itself from your device. We'll be glad to help out.

On your iPhone, tap Settings > Music. Scroll to the Downloads section and tap Optimize Storage. This setting can remove songs you are trying to download if the songs exceed the amount you selected here. You can also disable this feature completely, if you wish.

Hello Eric, thank you for your response.

However, my optimize storage is off on my phone and I have enough space to accommodate songs on my phone. What I realize is that all of a sudden my songs show not downloaded and I have to proceed to download them again, which is expensive for me as I have to purchase a data plan to allow me download the songs over the internet. Also, when I download new songs some of the songs that were downloaded automatically removes from my phone. Why is that?, bearing in mind that I have enough storage on my phone.
