iPhone 12 Pro Max issue with Qi charging.

Hello Apple friends,

So, I'm afraid that I am noticing an issue with my iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 14.7.1 and wireless Qi charging.

I have two Qi chargers and a MagSafe Duo. I am having no problems with the MagSafe Duo and my iPhone, both work flawlessly together 100% of the time.

However, if I attempt to use a Qi charger (7.5W), the iPhone will not recognize it if I have previously placed/used it on the MagSafe charger. I will have to restart the iPhone to get it to work on the Qi charger, or simply not place it on the MagSafe charger at any point in between; otherwise, the Qi chargers work great with the iPhone 12.

This week, I decided to test this so I brought my Qi charger home with me and plugged it in right beside my MagSafe Duo. I restarted the iPhone and it worked fine on the Qi charger only until I placed it on the MagSafe charger then back on the Qi charger again. Purportedly, what I'm seeing is the iPhone will not recognize the Qi charger after it's been used at some point on the MagSafe charger.

Has anyone had any experience with this? The only workaround I'm able to find right now is to restart my iPhone. Thanks so much, in advance.

The MagSafe Duo uses an Apple-branded 20W USB C power brick.

The Qi charger is a basic, Qi-certified puck with a 3A 5V AC charger.

I'm not having any issues with other Qi-enabled devices charging (e.g., AirPods).
