I'm using iPhone XS max and I'm facing an issue right after the update from IOS 14.
after updating to IOS 14 my iPhone was quite normal and the performance was a bit slow but then later it started to reboot and display a warning message in setting as "unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine battery".
Bear in mind, I have never replaced the battery or even opened the phone up.

If you've never replaced the battery and you are getting this message, I would recommend you contact Apple Support directly. They will certainly help you with this issue: Get Support.
What version of 14 are you running? If your not on 14.7.1, try updating and see if that fixes it.
