Cannot access my new IPad, asking for password

I am trying to set up my new IPad, when first setting up it asked me to create an apple account, using my email, and a password. This is the only password I created. Now when I went back to access my IPad it is asking for a password, when I put in the password with my apple account, it will not accept it. HELP!!! Please!!!

I. Do you Mean "Passcode?"?:

Hold It Right There!:

Enter the passcode incorrectly too many times, and you'd likely be locked out for good. So, hold it right there, and refer to this link: If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is Disabled - Apple Support. It would be the one you've always entered. If you do not know it, then look for it in a location you may have stored it in.


II. If the above does not apply, then refer to the following:

  • Use these Forum's Password:

You are able to log in to these forums just fine. So, the password would be no different, given it is the same account.

  • Restart your iPad:

Perhaps this all needs to resync? So, go here: Restart your iPad - Apple Support
