Airdrop Imac issues

I have a MacOs and when ive tried everything it doesn't allow airdrop it doesn’t even ask “Allow me to be discovered” and its new ?

Please check MacOS version/iOS version and hardware requirement (both sending and receiving) for using Air Drop.
