My friend is not getting my texts.

We understand that your friend isn’t receiving your text messages and we’re happy to help! If your friend has an iPhone, then both of you would need to follow the steps found in the Apple Support article If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If your friend switched to a non-Apple phone, then your friend needs to deactivate iMessage, see Deregister iMessage on your iPhone or online.
