Why is my right AirPod not working

My right AirPod stoped playing sound it’s still connects and if I double tap it, it would go to the next song.At first the audio glitched a bit but then it was working fine, the next day no sound would play at all.I’ve done everything from resetting it, cleaning it, turning Bluetooth on and off.Nothing would work. And it’s only one AirPod so I don’t know what’s going on I’ve taken care of my AirPods really well over the past 2 year and they never gave me a pro I couldn’t fix within a second.I have a IPhone 7 maybe my phone is the problem.

iPhone 7, iOS 14

Hi MakaylaShelby,

We'd like to help guide you in the best direction for a solution for your AirPods. It sounds like you have done some great steps so far, and if those steps were the guidance of these articles: How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro & How to clean your AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and EarPods, and without reaching a solution, testing on another device can further help isolate the issue. If this happens on another device, or if you do not have one, the next best steps will be service. You can begin with locating locations near and scheduling an appointment here: Find Locations

If further testing determines it is not isolated to the AirPods, let us know.
