iPad so horrible?

Why is the iPad 8 so horrible? I understand staff much “upgrade” and suggest changes, just for changes sake, to keep their jobs but this iPad is ruined. So you type in search engine bar. You want to change what you type. NO! No change for you! The X appears then disappears. The “clear” comes up but disappears before you can slide to it. But don’t pick your finger up, it’s gone forever. It takes longer to search or function with this garbage. You must delete and start over. Want to change your search from “differential thrust” to F-15 Differential Trust? NO! You “can” get the cursor at the beginning of the search, but as soon as you type one letter, it jumps to the back. Again garbage changed for changed sake. These, and dozens of changes screwed this model. iPad 5&6 were vastly better other than processing upgrade. The split screen trash? Try to get rid of it. Leave your finger a split second on your screen, or touch a mystery spot., two, three, four screens you can never get rid of. But start with fixing the **** search bar.
