iPhone 11 port defect. Genius Bar found no visual problems. Won’t charge yet told battery is good.what now?

What is solution to IPhone 11 lightening port that won’t charge? Taken to Genius Bar 2x. Battery is fine. Lightening cable is fine. Port is clean. No water damage. Did hard reset. Nothing works. Told its out of warranty. No insurance. Ugh! Is time for new phone? Purchased in October 2019. Phone is in pristine condition.

Bad power outlet, or bad building wiring, or the fuse or breaker has tripped, a switched outlet, or out-of-spec grid power?

I presume this was all tried at the Apple Store including with your adapter and cabling and iPhone, and all the kit worked there, which leaves the particular location you’re trying to charge (wired or Qi) as a remaining culprit.

Try charging in another outlet, in another room, and another building, and see if that works. Try something else in the outlet; a lamp or such.

And make sure the power outlet you’re charging from isn’t connected to a switch. Some are.

If you’re in the US, outlet testers are widely available. Same for some other countries and regions.

Whether a battery replacement will help is unclear, but based on what’s been posted here, it seems likely that some part of the charging circuit or a charging-related internal connection has failed, which means a repair.

When Apple told you that this wasn’t the battery, did they tell you anything else about their suggested resolution?

What part of the hardware is bad is only going to be clear with direct access, and possibly with some parts-swapping. Which might include the battery while it’s open on the bench if the battery is unhealthy enough to warrant the added cost.
