Heart rate not appearing in workout for run and walks

Hi

i have an Apple Watch series 6 which I brought sometime back . I just started using it for workouts and I realised that it does not detect the HR while doing outdoor run , outdoor walk , indoor run and indoor walk .

have attached a sample photo of how it appears while selecting the parameters for a workout .

Apple Watch Series 6, watchOS 7

See if you have workout power saving mode turned on,this turns off the heart monitor during workouts.

I have one more question . My VO2 Max is not getting recorded in the Health App . It shows an old data which is almost 2 years old when I had Apple Watch series 3 .
