Apple Watch 7 won't read heart rate when out for a run

Hi,

I use my Apple Watch 7 to track my exercise, specifically when I'm out for a run. I've noticed recently that it tracks my heart rate less and less - my most recent run, it probably measured heart rate for about 20% of my run.

Any ideas why this might be?
