iPhone 7 A1160 no service cellular failed to update

i broke my old iPhone 6 Plus and took out old SIM card into a replacement iPhone 7 and after restoring from iTunes backup I noticed in my settings a list of devices and the old iPhone 6 was in that list so I deleted it and after that I could. No longer makes calls and have problems restoring and tells me failure to update cellular no service . What’s the deal?
