My airpods say they are connected to my phone and they still are not actually connected. My music is playing through my phone speakers still. Help please? I have tried resetting everything and still nothing.
I really don't want to have to buy new airpods.

If they seem to be connected, but won't play, try this:
1) Open the Control Center
2) Long press on the music controls
3) Select the output option (little up-arrow with circles)
4) Select AirPods (if they are not listed, they are not really connected): If your AirPods won't connect
