Iphone shared notes won’t open

Are you both using iCloud notes? If so, did the other person follow these steps to share the note with you:

Share your notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Keep in mind that you need iOS 13, or iPadOS to share a folder or accept an invitation to collaborate on a shared folder. Also, they can't share a folder that has a locked note, or a note that's shared by someone else.

From there, see if they can stop sharing with you, then add you again to their note. These steps are found in the above Apple Support article.

Next, try opening the note while your device is connected to another reliable network. Your friend might also try sharing the note with a family member or friend to test the issue. This step might help determine if the issue is on their end.

From there, we suggest following steps 1-3 below. Closing the Notes app, restarting your device, and checking for updates might help.
