Show full file path on TextEdit

I have multiple tabs opened in TextEdit and most often they have same filenames but on different folders.

Say for example a projects with different build.xml files. I'd like to be able to distinguish which "build.xml" im currently on. On Notepad++ windows, there's show full file path on the tab bar. Is this also available in TextEdit? Or can you recommend another Text Editor for mac similar to Notepad++?

Thank you!
