My iPhone SE 2020 has message notification set to show previews: Never. This used to give me an alert on the Lock Screen that had the sender’s name and no preview. Now it just says “Notification”.
The one in the left is from my iPad. The one on the right is how the iPhone displays. How do I get it to look like the one on the left?
The notification setting for Messages on both devices are exactly the same.

Fixed it. I made a backup. Restored to factory settings. Then restored from backup. 😊😊😊

Both devices are on 14.7.1
I was seeing the notification on the left for both devices until recently. The only thing I’ve done differently is restore the phone from backup. However, it was already on 14.7.1 before I did that.
Are the devices running the same OS? When notifications are set to Show Previews > Never, you'll only see the notification on the right.
