Can I use Google Authenticator for apple.id.com?

I was wondering if I could use Google Authenticator for apple.id.com, so I could sign in with a 2FA. I am asking this question because I want to have as much of my stuff secured as best as possible. I mean who doesn’t. Please respond ASAP so I could have 2FA if possible.

Thanks,

McJpr0

Apple’s 2FA does not use any secondary authenticator app.

The secondary factor to log in is a code sent to trusted devices via a system message or to trusted phone numbers as an SMS or audio message.
