Weather radar for CarPlay

Why can't we get a weather radar view in CarPlay?

When traveling, that would as useful as traffic data, and Apple allows that in maps.

My almost 10-year-old Toyota had it built into the head unit.

And I know someone might answer to go to "feedback" to leave my comment. I tried and there is no CarPlay option.

Weather radar in motion doesn’t work? Since Apple axed Dark Sky, I’ve been giving the native Weather app the old college try. My main complaint is that when you view current conditions for a location, the static image of radar for precipitation data seems correct, but if you tap on it to get past and future data in motion, it shows nothing. Do others see this?
