Why doesn’t apple support bose?

I have Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. They don’t hurt my ears with prolonged use like other headphones do. They also have excellent noise canceling. I have partial hearing loss and would benefit if apple provided eq settings like android does. This article suggests that equalization is available for apple and select Beats headphones. Why doesn’t apple provide eq settings for any device. Android does.

A more appropriate question, in this instance, is to perhaps consider and ask “bose” why they don’t properly support Apple devices?

As a third-party manufacturer, it is bose that have opportunity to refine their product for use with source devices - and in this instance to provide EQ and equalisation data to other manufacturers.
