macbook air internet connection

Serial # C1***1WK. MacBook Air 13". OS Sierra 10.12.6


When at home it connects to wifi without problem. When I get to my place of business it no longer connects. It used to but not recently. The wifi icon is showing and it is showing it is connected. In settings it shows the proper network is connected. But nothing loads. I am told there is no connection. I even switched to a secondary wifi we have and same issue. So two different wifi networks same problem. Phones connect without issue but this MacBook even showing that wifi is on and connected acts as if it is not connected.

Your employer may have put restrictions on their network usage. First thing I'd do is ask your IT department if anything has changed with respect to their network access.
