I have recently purchased the apple watch se with gps and cellular.My question is how far can i go physically without my phone for it to still be able to make calls?Is there a radius?

If it's a cellular watch you can leave your phone at home and still make calls as long as you are in an area that is covered by your network provider.
If your network covers an area 200 miles from where you live then you can still make calls with your watch.
