Hi KM-777,

Welcome to the Apple Community,

where some of us do our best to help each other troubleshoot.

Seems the magazines may be suggested if you have subscribed to Apple News+ ?

Learn how to cancel your subscriptions on one of your Apple devices

For Apple News:

Apple have articles online that may help:

E g: Change preferences in News on Mac

https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/news/iphca74e7adb/mac

Eg: Says

By default, Siri suggests channels, topics and stories in News,

and learns from how you use News to make suggestions across other apps.

To stop these suggestions, choose Apple menu > System Preferences,

  • click Siri,
  • click Siri Suggestions & Privacy,
  • click News,
  • then deselect the tick boxes:

Show Siri Suggestions in App (to stop Siri suggestions in News),

Learn from this App (to stop Siri from using what it learns in News to make suggestions across apps),

or both.

If you need more info:

the above comes from:

Apple News User Guide

(Click Table of Contents at the top, to reveal topics, leading to detailed articles.)

Hope this helps :-)
