itunes won't accept that my computer is authorized to play some purchased tracks

like 15 of 45 songs i bought with a gift card wont play or download to an mp3 player. it says computer isn't authorized.

It is.

when i do the prompted apple id log in, there's no effect. it still says i'm not authorized to play songs. this happened before, but i don't remember how i solved it.

Repeated requests to authorize an already authorized computer for store downloads typically indicates you have corrupt or incomplete copies. Backup and then delete the tracks that won't play from your library without hiding from your purchase history. Redownload using the cloud links that should remain, or close iTunes and reopen if they don't show up straight away. While downloading click the activity widget and turn off the option that allows for simultaneous downloads.
