MacBook setup error

Hi, I'm trying to sign into my new MacBook. During the Apple ID sign up process it asks me to enter my iPhone passcode and when I do it says it's wrong. I've put it in about a million times, all correct, and it won't recognise it. I changed the passcode to something else still doesn't work. It just says that the passcode is wrong. What do I do about this?

Hi evacochrane,

Your iPhone passcode is used to protect certain secrets in your iCloud account, including your Health data and the passwords stored in iCloud Keychain. These secrets are (unlike most iCloud data) end-to-end encrypted, which means that not even Apple can see them.

To resolve this issue, try signing out of iCloud on your iPhone, and then sign in again. This process should force your passcode to be updated on Apple's servers. If that doesn't resolve the issue, try enabling iCloud Keychain on your iPhone to force the end-to-end encryption setup process again.
