You start streaming audio and every single time on any site, the audio stops a few minutes in (not always the same) while the page resets automatically and reverts to beginning. It's beyond frustrating, but also a safety issue in this era of on the go... It has nothing to do with either display auto lock or required password set time.

Have you notice this occur with all sites, or just a specific one? If it's just a specific site, it may have to do with that site itself.
If it's all sites, we'd suggest closing all open apps: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support and restarting your phone: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support, then updating to the latest iOS software: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
