GPU Panic attack on MacBook Pro Mid 2010 Edition

Is there any update on this issue apart from replacing the mother board?. My hard earned money gone wasted by investing in it...though I was all in awe for the first 5 years of usage until the newer version of OS came out.


So much of time and effort gone into waste as the problem still persist. I lost interest in all other apple products which I used before (iPhone, iPad, iPod) due to this crazy issue.


I would be more than happy to go back to the version of OS which was working perfectly alright and that too got prevented by ....I am unable to go back to Mountain Lion (which was working perfect).

I'm assuming you have the 15" or 17" model. You can try forcing the laptop to use the Intel GPU by using one of these gfxCardStatus apps assuming you can boot the laptop either normally or into Safe Mode.
