sudden shut down when I am using my MacBook pro on battery.
I have not used my laptop for a while and when I opened it this morning it had no power so I plugged it to charge then after a while I-when I notice it is charged-I started it, assumming it shutdown because of low battery. But after not more than 5 minutes after I started using it on battery it suddenly shutdown again, I restarted it and the problem of sudden shutdown continues. I tried different methods I found on the Internet like resetting the SMC, and PRMS even recovery, all of them seemed not to work.
It seemed to run ok when plugged and when I am actively working on it at least the sudden shut down is not occurring, but the fan is not working, the screen is not periodically dimming as it is supposed to. But if I leave my laptop inactive if shuts down, NOT hibernate? I am puzzeled
I need a quick solution as I currently very much need my laptop for work, please get back to me preferable with a quick fit if possible.
Kind regards,
