Brand new 2021 iPad Pro 12.9" won't power on

Hi! I just bought a new 12.9" iPad Pro. It was delivered today and isn't powering on after about an hour of charging. No charge screen or anything. I've already tried forcing a restart with Vol up/down/hold power. Is this unit DoA or do I just need to be more patient? Thanks all.

Do not struggle with it for too long. Charge it for a total of 2 hours and then try turning it ON again. Push and Hold down the power button until it comes ON (Generally within a few seconds). If that does not work then consider the unit as DOA as it should not be this difficult to get an iPad started.

Just FYI - Ensure that it is plugged in and charging from a working outlet (I am sure you have but double check).
