Bought the 2TB storage but the notice said I don't have enough storage.

Hello,

I'm a user of iPhone XS 256. I still have enough room on my device, and recently bought the 2 TB storage (shared through family plan). But, I still can't back up my files and photos to icloud. Please help me out.

Oh, and one more question. is it okay to sign out and re-sign in my appleID on my iPhone. I'm afraid because i haven't successfully back up my photos since 19 weeks ago.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you’re having issues backing up your device to iCloud after upgrading the storage plan. We’ll be happy to help.

With Family Sharing, everyone in your family group has access to the iCloud storage plan. Make sure you have enough room in iCloud storage to backup your iPhone using the guidance in this link:

Manage your iCloud storage

As for signing out of your Apple ID, if you haven’t synced your photos or archived your iCloud data, it may be a good idea to do that first before signing out. This link can help you with this:

Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud

These are what happened when i look into “Photos”, and what’s on my settings.

Could you help me figuring out what’s happen and on my iphone and how to solve it?
