how to remove 30 day folder from desktop

so recently after updating to 11.5.2 I noticed I have a "previous 30 days" and "today" drop down icon on my desktop. How can I get rid of this I've tried grouping by none under view settings and still no success

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

Turn Off Stacks, or use a different criteria for the Stacks. (Ctrl-click on the Desktop). Also should be in View Options for the Desktop.
