When using Imaging Edge app, I have a playback feature while using my iPhone, but the playback feature is missing with my iPad (pro-12"), why? That is a critically needed feature.

You would need to ask the publisher of Imaging Edge (Sony Home Entertainment) that question. It is not an Apple product.
