Can someone tell me, how to switch Maps app on watch from dark to light mode?

Note that 8.0.1 is newer release than 8.0. This implies the ‘dark’ appearance of the map was also present in the first release.
Thank you for sharing, it’s a pity they didn’t yet solve it. Similar annoyance for the maps in the activity app that seem to be dark by design. Unreadable!
Checked at Apple Store; four employees checked and experienced similar dark mode for Maps on their watches that they weren’t aware of. According to the most senior person, Apple’s knowledge base confirmed it is a known bug that shows up after updating to 8.0.1.
