Hello, my QUMI beamer is very often not recognized by my 2017 Macbook Air (running Catalina) when I plug in the HDMI->thunderbolt adapter cable, sometimes I need to try 20-50 times until it works. What can I do? Is there no software switch? Via "System Preferences"->Displays, there seems nothing I can do; also, no "Arrangement Tab" that some people are talking about. Please help, this is extremely frustrating. Thanks!

Thank you for letting us know. There isn't a special Fn key to press to toggle between the Mac and the projector. If the port is working with other devices, that lets us know the port is OK. Since the issue continues, we recommend reaching out to vivitek Support to look into this more with you.

This I can do.

This function key I cannot find, please help!
Today I tried plugging in and plugging out the thunderbolt cable for 5 minutes, and then I gave up:-(
There must be a way to tell my laptop that it should send the signal to the beamer! WLAN is not an option.
