cellular error iphone7

my daughter's phone suddenly stopped working on cellular data. it only works on wi-fi now. She has checked for ios and carrier settings updates and it says she is all up to date. We can't figure out what's happening. She said she saw other folks having similar problems when she searched on Google. I don't know the details. Sound familiar to anyone?
