Battery options greyed out - MacBook Pro macOS Big Sur 11.5.2

Hi There, I have the problem with battery configuration, I can't change the battery settings and disable the battery health mode. Could you help me

No antivirus software is installed on my computer, and data encryption is enabled.

This happened after the update from the operating system of Catalina to Big Sur

MacBook Pro 2018 - Battery Status not showing in Menu Bar (Big Sur) As you see n the screenshots, I do not have the battery icon in "other modules" within the system preferences. I can reach the battery menu via the search function though. I have checked the boxes "Show in menu bar" and "Show Percentage". But as you see there is no battery icon in the menu bar. I tried it with removing the power plug and just running the MacBook Pro on battery. For gods sake I also did reinstall Big Sur freshly! Nothing helped so far. Any advice? UPDATE: I have installed a 3rd party app for battery status. It says "No battery installed" which obviously can't be true since I am typing on battery right now...

status battery Hello, I just updated to macOS Big Sur and even tough there are a lot of visualizations improvements there is one thing I really miss, the status battery charge. Before this upgrade I could see current battery status without have to do click on battery icon even whit no login mode. You may also leave a section to send comments for improvements from "about mac" section. Thank you,

The solution is to go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Advanced..., then select "Require an administrator password to access system-wide preferences". Click ok.
