I have 2 iPads & an iPhone all running 14.7.1 of iOS or iPadOS, I can connect to my wifi network but when I connect to my wireless hp officejet pro 6968 my wifi connection drops, when I go back to the wifi connection the wireless connection to the printer drops.This seems to have only started since I install the 14.7.1 version of the OS.

Have you configured your printer to join the WiFi network provided by your WiFi Router - or have you instead configured your printer to provide its own “ad-hoc” WiFi network?
If the latter, your iPad will only be able to join your main Router-provided network or your Printer’s ad-hoc network; your iPad cannot connect simultaneously to two networks.
For correct AirPrint operation, it is essential for your printer to be connected to your main WiFi network.

For older iPad models with a Home button, try a simple hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake/power button simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.
