Active Calories vs Total Calories

I am new iWatch user and I understand the difference between active calories and total calories, however is starting to make me feel like I’m being robbed with the amount of calories I burned.. I do a high intensity training like Insanity, where I do take 30 second breaks where my heart rate doesn’t have much time to go below average for working out, yet there is about 100 calorie difference between my active calories and my total calories.. is there I way to change that?

According to What is the difference in "active cal… - Apple Community

Total calories include - basal calories + calories burned when doing a workout. Active calories are those that are burned during some activity like swimming running or anything else where your body is moving, Basal are those that your body burns during a day without any activity.
