MainStage changing 3rd party preset

Also check that in "Preferences", "General" that the option "On Patch Change" under "Parameters" is set to "Keep Current Value"

OK, I see the asterisk now, but, if I make a change like move a drawbar such that the asterisk appears, then save the concert and even exit MainStage and reload, it loads with the changes saved (i.e. drawbar in new position) and still shows the asterisk. There is then the option within the plugin to update the preset or save to a new one.

So, with the plugin open and the asterisk in view, if you save the concert does the asterisk disappear and the drawbar revert to initial position?

I can't figure out why yours is working differently. Given the B3 is behaving, it seems associated with the Vox. Have you any other Arturia plugins you could try?

Not sure what's going on.

Perhaps create a second patch and put a different instrument in it and set some parameters. Then save.

Switch between patches and see if both keep the correct values.

If they do, exit and reload and see what the settings are.

Very odd. What version of Vox are you running and which factory preset fuses the issue with that drawbar or is it ore than one preset? I'm trying to replicate it for what it's worth but, so far, can't. It may be work reinstalling Vox.

Change any of the setting on the Electric Piano within its plugin like e.g. the volume.

Where exactly is the asterisk appearing? I've loaded up the Vox myself as an AU plugin and don't see an asterisk. It also retains the factory preset I select. Sorry to ask, but are you definitely looking at the plugin and not loading the "Stand Alone" Vox app?

It might not have been you. There are a few gremlins in MainStage. I keep very regular dated backups of my concerts in case I need to revert to a previous incarnation. Glad you got it sorted.

After save only or do you need to actually exit MainStage and reload to make it go wrong?

Does the issue arise on both patches or just the Arturia Vox one?

Do screen parameters lose their current value also?
