MacBook Air M1 screen failure

After 5 months using my new MacBook Air, I found its screen cracked without any apparent cause. Nothing was dropped or pushing on it. But the evening before the screen was showing some kind of flickering lines on the display. Then I closed it and I found it cracked at the same place when I opened it back on the morning with no apparent reason. I contacted Apple who did not recognise the fact despite so many testimonies on their own website and clearly refuse to be responsible for repairs costs. Such a policy is clearly unacceptable for such a company.
