Texting on ipad
Sometimes texting from my iPad Air works fine and other time it says not delivered. Can’t figure out why.
maybe i don’t have a setting right?

If you mean “green” texting (technically SMS’ing via your mobile carrier) vice Apple’s “blue” iMessaging; it MIGHT be that your iPhone is not nearby/on/connected.
No iPad - including “cellular” models - can natively send “green” texts.
However they “appear” to do so by relaying-thru a nearby and connected iPhone using the same AppleID.
No iPhone Nearby = No Green Texting
