I have followed all instructions to remove photos, disable iCloud Photos, deleted all photos and videos by selecting. The app now shows no images, but iPad Storage has 4.28GB of space still on my iPad. Nothing seems to work to remove these photos. My iPad constantly runs out of space, but there is NO way to remove the 4.28GB of photos. What's the story Apple?
When deleting images from your iPad, be aware that deleted photos are initially only moved from Photos to the Recently Deleted folder.
Until also “deleted” from Recently Deleted folder, your files/photos are not actually removed from your local storage - and will continue to occupy space on your iPad.
Be sure to restart after deletions and you can check your storage to see for sure what is taking that space.click this link...
