Movie playback on iTunes

iTunes:

I can playback my purchased music videos, but unable to view purchased movies from iTunes.

I get the audio, but the picture is broken up.

I have the latest versions of both iTunes and Quicktime. My PC is Windows 10.

Thanks in Advance

Hi SeanBannigan,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you're able to play video in iTunes but it doesn't display the picture and you only hear sound.

Are you able to see the video if you play a video in any other apps? Does it happen with all purchased movies or specific movies?

If it's happening in all movies only in iTunes, we'd recommend that you follow the steps below then test again:

  1. Quit iTunes.
  2. Press the Windows key on your keyboard. If your keyboard doesn't have a Windows key, press the Control (Ctrl) and Escape (Esc) keys on your keyboard.
  3. Click on the magnifying icon or search field. In the search box, type %ProgramData%, then press the Return key.
  4. Show any hidden files:
    • Windows 10: Click View, then select "Hidden items."
  1. Open the Apple Computer folder, then the iTunes folder.
  2. Delete the adi and SC Info folders: Right-click each folder and choose Delete from the menu.
  3. Restart your computer.
  4. Open iTunes and try to play the movies.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
