Apple TV Sign in Problem - Message of Incorrect Password

I cannot sign into the Apple TV app from my Vizio Smart TV. I've upgraded the firmware. I keep getting an "incorrect password" message even though the password is correct and I've entered the verification code from my iPhone correctly and promptly.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. It’s understandable that you’d want to resolve the issue with being unable to sign into your Apple ID on your Vizio TV.


First, make sure you are able to sign in elsewhere: Sign in with your Apple ID 


If you are still unable to sign in, please Change your Apple ID password and try again.
