Facebook marketplace

I’m using an iPad Pro with the latest update along with the most recent Facebook app and every time I try browsing Facebook marketplace I get a black screen with the thinning spinning cog thingy, and dumped back at the Lock Screen. Anybody know how I can rectify this. Thanks
