You won't be able to use FindMy to find AirPods that are in their case. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207581

My son lost his AirPods a few weeks ago. He had the charging case & they fell out when he was running. He didn't lose his case. The next day he found one of his AirPods, but he couldn't find the second one.


  1. Can he locate the other AirPod using "find my phone?"
  2. If someone found his other AirPods, can they access his account and/or hear what he listens to if they use his other AirPods?
