iPad Air 4, Logitech Folio Touch Keyboard Behavior Issues

I recently bought an iPad Air 4 upgrading from an original iPad Air and moving from iOS 12.5 to 14.7. I also bought a Logitech Folio Touch keyboard. I am seeing behavior I don't understand and can't control.

First, the arrow keys on the Folio Touch sometimes act like the Tab key where a blue box surrounds a selected icon or section on the page, jumping from one icon or section to the next when an arrow key is touched instead of, for example, the insertion point moving to the next character in a paragraph I'm typing which is what I would expect. I might be trying to backspace a few characters to replace a letter in a misspelled word but instead of the insertion point moving within the word a blue box jumps around different icons or sections on the page or different sections of the page as if I was tabbing. The arrow keys seem to think they are the Tab key.

The other thing I see a lot is when I'm working on a text document typing away, all of a sudden instead of the characters I'm typing being appended to the sentence I'm working on the insertion point jumps somewhere else on the page and my typing appears in the middle of a sentence in another paragraph. Sometimes a paragraph I'd already typed gets deleted. Obviously, unless I can get control of this I've got to get rid of the Folio Touch.

I'm not used to working with a trackpad and it may be that I accidentally touch it at times, but I don't know. My last keyboard didn't have a trackpad and I don't recall ever seeing these problems.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks.

I am, of course, aware that the Logitech Folio Touch is not an Apple product--you state the obvious--but you completely overlook the fact that I am using it, as anybody must, in conjunction with an Apple product, the Apple iPad Air 4th generation in this case. It's possible that something about the iPad is not functioning as intended, yet you seem to favor pointing the finger at Logitech rather than considering that possibility.

It seems you've assumed that I have not reached out to Logitech for support. That would be incorrect. In fact, I spent over an hour with them on the phone the other day and have emailed them several times.
