scroll wheel and function keys randomly stop working - logitech

Hello

I have an M1 Mac Mini. I have connected to it a Logitech Ergo K860 Keyboard and an MX Master Mouse.

Randomly throughout the day my scroll wheel stops working and the function keys also fail at the same time. Ex: Volume up/down.

The only way I've found to fix this is to reboot the mac mini.

Both items are at full charge. They are connected to the machine through the USB ports on the mac mini, not through an extender.

This is suuuuuuper annoying. I'm curious if anyone has a fix...
