Macbook pro (A1989 with touch bar 2018) swolle battery...n battery

My Macbook pro (A1989 with touch bar 2018) battery has been become swollen. But the battery health information shows normal and cycle counts only 32. Now I am in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I went to an 'iservice center' here. They said along with battery trac-pad, keyboard and top case will be replaced, it is a package replacement, and also said, it takes 1 month for replacement, because they will bring the accessories from Singapore. It is a huge time consuming option. Can I replace only battery from local service center? If I do this, can I get service from authorised Apple Service Center in future.? Would you please inform me about actual cost for swollen battery replacement.

See if you can find an Authorized Service Provider:

https://locate.apple.com

You can also click the "Get Support" link at the top right of this page to see what your support options are for your region.

You really should pursue an official Apple repair if at all possible. Keep in mind that the quality of third party Lithium-ion Batteries are extremely poor even when purchased from a reputable vendor. However, if that is not possible in your region for some reason, then I guess you can try an unauthorized repair shop that is familiar with Apple laptop repairs. If you ever do take the laptop to an official Apple Service Provider after having a third party repair Apple may refuse to service your laptop (or if they do service it the repair may be much more expensive).

Make sure to have a good backup before you get the laptop repaired because if the Logic Board is at all damaged during the repair you will likely lose access to all the data on the laptop that is not backed up. I highly recommend having a copy of your data stored on a hard drive that is accessible to any computer and OS as well since a Time Machine backup will require you to have another Mac running the same OS or newer to access the TM backup.

If your mac is under warranty I would do this at Apple or AASP for your location—other wise if not under warranty, makes no difference.

Make sure to have a good backup of the laptop, then stop using the laptop until you get the battery replaced. Make sure to disconnect the charger. You may find that Apple has a secret free repair program for swollen batteries if the laptop is less than three years old. Our organization has had several swollen batteries replaced for free outside of the one year warranty period, but also the laptops have been less than three years old.

Thank you, HWTech, for your reply. I bought it on 21 September 2019, for that, it is less than two years old. But in Bangladesh, I believe, there is no such kind of organisation that can replace battery using Apple secret free repair program. Would you please tell me can I replace only battery without replacing keyboard, pad and top-case for this model. Then I replace battery only with the help of local service center.
