Trackpad Haptic Feedback not working on MBP 2017

Since, I upgraded to macOS Big Sur 11.5.2, my haptic feedback has stopped working. It intermittently stops working, Generally face this issue when I wake it up from sleep. It later starts working for some period.

Not sure, but it looks to be a driver issue now that M1 and Intel based models are present.

Things tried and verified:

  1. Did a PRAM, SMC reset - No effect
  2. Trackpad haptic feedbacks works when system starts and immediately stops on booting Apple logo.
  3. Fresh install of MacOS Big Sur.
  4. Battery health is Normal, Healthy.
  5. No hardware issue found in apple Diagnostics.

Can someone please advise if they have any better idea on this?

Thanks for the reference thread, it looks to be affecting a lot of users on Intel chips.

I also took my MBP to the genius bar where he directly asked me to pay for hardware diagnosis consisting of checking the cables are intact and other diagnosis. If it appears to be a damage either change the trackpad with battery kit or change the bottom case completely. The quotes for both the activities were almost half the price of the laptop.
