AV Receiver and TV no longer power on or off with Apple TV remote

About a week ago my 2 year old AppleTV 4K stopped turning on the AV Receiver and TV like it has been for quite some time. Didn’t make any changes, no firmware updates. The AV Receiver now displays my Apple TV as “CD” previously it showed “Apple TV” when that was the source being used. Has anyone else ran into this issue recently or have any solutions to bring the functionality back?
